SSE will temporarily close down for two weeks. All orders placed have been shipped out, if you have questions, concerns, etc. please e-mail me. The second batch is taking shape and is proving to be a beastly one. Late March will see the release of some funked out james by Jeffry Astin’s new, Digital Natives project along with a debut cassette by saxophone blazer, Attenuated. Check out a track to be featured on Attenuated’s release here.

Derek Rogers - “Sunset”
Blogger extraordinaire The Radiant Now recently did something characteristically rad and fired up the homegrown tape label Space Slave Editions, which promises many a potent head-trip in analog form. The imprint’s inaugural batch (on sale now) joins relative newcomers Worn Vessel and Vermillion Father with the absurdly industrious Derek Rogers, who’s been making some serious rounds this past year. Rogers’ Institutio Amet cassette flew off shelves quick (look for copies at Discriminate Music and DNT Records), but those looking to sample the magic can stream opener “Sunset”, which goes from strummy meditation to all-engulfing squall in just 6 minutes flat.
Space Slave is cooking up future releases from Xiphiidae, Lee Noble, Black Eagle Child, and more—you’re gonna wanna watch this space.
